More information about the facilities at available at our Hall.
Licensed Bar
Our fully stocked and licensed bar has everything you need when hosting a large party or event - equipped with a wine and beer fridge, spirits, soft drinks and glasses. When hired, the bar is staffed by volunteers from the local community. Please see our FAQ 'What is the cost of using the hall bar'? for more information.
If you do not want to hire the bar, but would like a few alcoholic drinks at your event, there is a corkage charge. Please see our FAQ 'Can we bring our own drinks'? for more information.
The main hall is the focal point of Failand Village Hall, hosting everything from the Failand Society, through to production plays.
This hall has spacious room for 15 tables, a dedicated bar, and a 6 metre wide stage - with doors opening out onto our beautiful managed garden lawn.

With enough electric sockets for a full sound system setup and seating, for up to 150 people in rows, our stage has been used for everything from conferences and lectures to local plays and dramas.
Available with the hire of the hall is our 2nd room, perfect for getting ready in, before your show. This has plenty of storage and space behind the stage for the cast to rest or prepare in.
Equipped with all the equipment you would expect - including a commercial oven with 8 burners, commercial sink, dishwasher, large fridge and small freezer.
You are able to bring external catering in for your event. Please speak to one of our team when booking for more information.

Garden Area
Failand Village Hall's semi-rural location means we benefit from a large, managed garden area with trees, mown grass and wildlife friendly planting - plus a large level lawned area, perfect for summer garden parties, marquees and wedding receptions.
With ample parking onsite we can accommodate up to 50 cars. We also have one disabled parking space located near the entrance to the Hall.
Our even surface car park means wheelchair users can access the Hall with ease.

Access & Amenities
The Hall has a digital access system so you will be given a code and time slot, making it easy to access once you arrive.

Alongside the hall, stage, commercial kitchen and bar there are also baby change and disabled toilet facilities, chairs and tables that can be used.
​
For added security the Village Hall and grounds have video surveillance strategically located to increase your safety.
